For more than 30 years, we have worked tirelessly to bring forward medicines for life-threatening diseases. Our 11,000+ employees are passionate about improving the lives of people around the world.

We have pursued – and will continue to pursue – breakthroughs that were once thought to be impossible. A path to a cure for HIV. A cure for hepatitis C. A revolutionary approach to cancer therapy.

But we know it takes more than science and medicine to impact diseases. That’s why we work with organizations across all our therapeutic areas to launch programs that help improve access to care by eliminating barriers and advancing education.

We’re addressing the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the most impacted areas of the world and within the most stigmatized communities through our COMPASS, RADIAN and TRANScend initiatives. We’re tackling the rise in hepatitis C infections due to the opioid epidemic through HepConnect. We’re helping people living with HIV Age Positively.

Along the way we’ve come across some compassionate and courageous people – here at Gilead and all over the world – doing amazing work. People who are committed to making a healthier world for everyone.
